A collaboration with artist/sculptor, Miguel Lopez Lemus, this video ofrenda installation was first presented at the Latino Arts, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI as an ofrenda for their Day of the Dead celebration in 2005 and was shown at the Irish Cultural Center, Chicago, IL in 2006-2007 as part of their Samhain (Day of the Dead) exhibition.
We are currently completing a new version of this piece that will be a sculptural wall installation with video footage from Day of the Dead celebrations in Oaxaca, Michoacan and Queretero, Mexico from 1994-2004.
