For three months during the winter of 2002, Jeanne Salis and Kapra Fleming spent evenings cooking, sharing dinner and interviewing Carlos Cortez.

Filmed on the last day at "Maxwell Street" before the city moved the
market to Canal Street, vendors talk candidly about their concerns
and hopes for the new location and their personal histories with the
"old" market.
Full Suit (23:55) 1991
Portrait of "Blu-Bak" a fully tattooed septagenarian as he talks about
how he started collecting a "Full Suit" of tattoos from his neck to his
toes as we watch him get a new tattoo of a scuba diver in a small spot
behind his knee, not previously filled.
Blu-Bak I (4:49) 1991 Set to original music composed by Robert Lombardo, these close-up shots of Blu-Bak's tattoos give a poetic look at the images that this human canvas collected.
